According to teaching materials for kindergarten educators, children as young as five are expected to have a conversation about occupied Crimea.<\/p>\n
Kindergarten children will be told about Crimea as a \u00abhistoric part of russia that has returned home\u00bb. The youngest groups will be taught about Crimea as a beautiful place to visit for holidays. For children aged 5\u20136, educators are already promoting the Crimean Bridge as a \u00absymbol of strength and unity\u00bb, while 6\u20137-year-olds will be told about the occupation of the peninsula as the \u00abrestoration of historical justice\u00bb.<\/p>\n
This is a clear example of how russia\u2019s system of total ideological indoctrination works. Children are subjected to propaganda as soon as they first enter the education system \u2014 starting in kindergarten.
