The content was aimed at building an authoritative image for the self-proclaimed \u201cexpert community\u201d \u2014 the International Berck Institute (IBI).<\/p>\n<p>\u25ab\ufe0fThe website of this \u201cinstitute\u201d published materials that often copied real academic research, mostly with false citations and attribution. Most importantly, IBI spread false information portraying russia in a way favorable to the kremlin.<\/p>\n<p>The disinformation campaign reached a relatively small audience.
