Amid a prolonged fuel shortage, the russian government recently authorized the production and sale of outdated Euro-2, Euro-3, and Euro-4 gasoline standards, which are unsuitable for many modern vehicles. As a result, municipal fleets are being forced to use lower-quality fuel, causing widespread mechanical failures.<\/p>\n<p>While russian propaganda and officials continue to downplay the scale of the fuel crisis, they remain unable to resolve the shortage.
