This claim is false. As noted by the Polish fact-checking project Demagog, the District Prosecutor\u2019s Office in Wroc\u0142aw has officially dismissed the \u201cprovocation\u201d narrative. Evidence collected during the investigation fully refutes claims that the Ukrainian couple instigated the attack. The man did indeed have a device with him (reportedly a flashlight with a built-in stun function), but he took it out only after the assault had begun and solely in self-defense.<\/p>\n
