In particular, hostile sources are actively spreading an absurd theory about a so-called \u201cAmerican connection.\u201d Propagandists claim that on the day of the crash, \u201cAmerican military experts\u201d secretly arrived in Dnipro to coordinate the work of local air traffic controllers, while the Hague Tribunal allegedly deliberately ignored \u201cevidence\u201d from the russian company \u201cAlmaz-Antey\u201d because \u201cthey are from russia.\u201d<\/p>\n
These statements are an attempt to whitewash the killers with fabricated facts. russia\u2019s guilt in the downing of the civilian aircraft has been indisputably proven. In November 2022, the District Court of The Hague handed down a final verdict, sentencing three individuals involved in the tragedy to life in prison.<\/p>\n
The investigation clearly established that the plane was shot down by a russian \u201cbuk\u201d air defense system, which had been transported from Russia to the occupied territory, and the court ruled that the falsified \u201cstudies\u201d by the \u201calmaz-antey\u201d concern regarding the launch site and the type of 9M38M1 missile were unreliable and manipulative.<\/p>\n
