russian propaganda has begun massively spreading fake information under the guise of “declassified historical documents” about the operation against the commander of the UPA-North, Dmytro Klyachkovsky (“Klim Savur”). In the materials published by the FSB, Soviet reports are quoted about the alleged “murder of 11 priests and up to 2,000 Poles in the streets of Volodymyr-Volynsky by Banderivtsi during a church service”.<\/p>\n
According to historians, including Volodymyr Viatrovych, this information is a fabrication of soviet chekists, which is not confirmed by any other sources – neither Polish, nor Ukrainian, nor German. Moreover, the FSB already tried to launch this hoax in 2022, and is now making a repeat attempt.<\/p>\n
To conduct the information operation, russia has massively involved propaganda media, as well as official resources of the ministry of foreign affairs. The obvious aim of involving the diplomatic department is to artificially introduce these disinformation into the foreign information field.<\/p>\n
