However, in reality, after arriving in russia, mercenaries often have their documents confiscated, are deprived of the opportunity to maintain contact with their families, and are sent into &#8220;meat grinders&#8221; without proper military training or language proficiency.<\/p>\n<p>The Peruvian prosecutor&#8217;s office is investigating 36 such cases and classifies them as human trafficking, while the country&#8217;s Ministry of Foreign Affairs claims to have received 247 official requests to repatriate their citizens from the russian army.<\/p>\n<p>This once again confirms that the russian army is suffering huge losses and is trying to compensate for the lack of manpower by using foreigners as expendable material on the frontline.
