It&#8217;s indicative that he expressed these theses about the &#8220;aggressive policy of the West&#8221; and the &#8220;need for self-defense&#8221; to people who will soon become the backbone of the russian army&#8217;s command structure.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, the dictator effectively outlined the state&#8217;s course and gave a direct instruction to the future military elite: their service will be subordinated to a potential war with the Alliance.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, russian propaganda has increasingly been promoting the narrative that NATO is allegedly preparing an attack on russia.
