\u25ab\ufe0f Polish media report\u00a0that social networks are actively amplifying claims that Ukrainian citizens in Poland supposedly have priority access to doctors, even over honorary blood donors. A photo of a document is circulated as \u201cevidence,\u201d allegedly confirming this practice.<\/p>\n
The document shared in such posts is an archival material of Poland\u2019s National Health Fund from 2014. It lists categories of individuals entitled to priority service, but does not mention Ukrainians at all.<\/p>\n
\u25ab\ufe0f Poland\u2019s Ministry of Health has officially refuted the fake claims about \u201cpriority for Ukrainians.\u201d Under current legislation, honorary blood donors are guaranteed priority access regardless of citizenship. Ukrainians under temporary protection in Poland have access to healthcare on the same terms as other insured persons. No additional privileges are provided for them.<\/p>\n
The purpose of such information injections is to artificially pit Ukrainians against Poles in order to reduce support for Ukraine within Polish society.
