The Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, together with the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, continues its systematic work to expose public figures who serve the kremlin\u2019s war propaganda.<\/p>\n
\u25ab\ufe0f The \u201ckremlin mouthpieces\u201d section of the War & Sanctions portal has been updated with data on 11 additional russian public figures \u2014 actors, singers, artists, producers, and composers who openly support the putin regime, the war against Ukraine, and the occupation of Ukrainian territories.<\/p>\n
Among the newly listed individuals are:<\/p>\n
\u25ab\ufe0f sergey bezrukov \u2014 a russian actor and producer involved in so-called \u201cagitbrigades\u201d and participating in performances in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine aimed at providing moral support to russian troops;
\n\u25ab\ufe0f viktoriya tsyganova \u2014 a singer and composer, author and performer of songs that glorify the wagner PMC and specific operations of the russian army in the war against Ukraine;
\n\u25ab\ufe0f yekaterina mizulina \u2014 a member of the public chamber of the russian federation and head of the \u201cSafe Internet League,\u201d who publicly advocates censorship and restrictions on freedom of speech and systematically promotes kremlin disinformation narratives about the war.<\/p>\n
The \u201ckremlin mouthpieces\u201d section of the War & Sanctions portal currently contains information on 161 individuals involved in justifying russia\u2019s armed aggression and war crimes, spreading war propaganda, and influencing public opinion outside russia.<\/p>\n
Work on updating the list of \u201ckremlin mouthpieces\u201d continues. We call for strengthening sanctions against russian propagandists and preventing any form of cooperation with them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
