The so-called “ministry of education” of the occupied territories of Kherson region has signed a cooperation agreement with the russian movement “yunarmiya” \u2014 a structure created for the military-ideological processing of children and teenagers.<\/p>\n
\u25ab\ufe0fThe document officially establishes joint activities in the field of “military-patriotic education” and pre-conscription training. In fact, it is about the systematic involvement of minors in the militaristic culture of russia. Occupation resources report that more than 250 young residents of the region have been recruited into the ranks of the organization, cynically calling them “future defenders of russia”.<\/p>\n
\u25ab\ufe0fThe signing of such an “agreement” once again confirms: the education system in the temporarily occupied territories, as in russia itself, has completely lost its basic function \u2014 the education and development of the child. Instead, it is turning into a tool of war, where schoolchildren are viewed as a resource for future replenishment of the aggressor state’s army.<\/p>\n
