Cadastral files, coordinate registers, all documents related to real estate, archives, etc., are transferred to federal ownership.<\/p>\n<p>Although the powers of the &#8220;local occupation administration&#8221; regarding real estate in Crimea were mostly nominal, the kremlin is still methodically depriving locals of any opportunities to manage the peninsula&#8217;s assets and make independent decisions.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the declared federalism, in practice the kremlin deprives residents of the occupied territories of any rights.
