There is no other convincing evidence or confirmation of these claims.<\/p>\n<p>Such claims are part of a systematic kremlin campaign to discredit Ukrainian soldiers and foreign volunteers who joined Ukraine\u2019s defense. By spreading fakes about \u201cforeign mercenaries,\u201d russia seeks to promote the narrative of a \u201cwar against the entire West,\u201d not just Ukraine.
