Recently, at the International Children\u2019s Center \u201cArtek\u201d \u2014 sanctioned by Ukraine\u2019s National Security and Defense Council for propagandist activities \u2014 the roc held a youth forum called \u201cIstoki.\u201d<\/p>\n
The event gathered 160 students from theological academies and seminaries across russia. During the forum, the \u201cBrotherhood of Orthodox Pathfinders\u201d \u2014 a roc scouting organization that began operating on the peninsula in 2022 \u2014 presented its activities.<\/p>\n
\u25ab\ufe0f<\/span><\/span> This organization is one of the tools in a wide network of ideological indoctrination aimed at militarizing children. In addition to scouting skills \u2014 such as survival in nature, orientation, teamwork, and more \u2014 participants are trained in weapons handling, and the brotherhood\u2019s uniforms are often styled after military attire.<\/p>\n The rhetoric of the organization is openly militant: children are taught that \u201cheroic deeds,\u201d \u201cdefending the weak,\u201d and \u201cserving the motherland\u201d are inseparably linked to armed struggle.
