The Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, continues to expose new data on russian propagandists.<\/p>\n

\u25ab\ufe0f The “kremlin mouthpieces” section<\/a> of the War & Sanctions portal has been updated with information on 16 more individuals who systematically serve russian propaganda \u2014 justifying aggression against Ukraine, spreading disinformation, and even fundraising for the russian army.<\/p>\n

Among those added:<\/p>\n

\u25ab\ufe0f olga kiriy \u2013 rt documentary journalist and producer of propaganda films;
\n\u25ab\ufe0f sergey georgiev \u2013 war correspondent for ria “novosti crimea,” appointed as the so-called \u201combudsman\u201d for Kherson region;
\n\u25ab\ufe0f renat shavlo (alias “georgy medvedev”) \u2013 russian war propagandist, tg channel host and author of pro-war books;
\n\u25ab\ufe0f pavel kukushkin \u2013 war correspondent for the \u201cpyatnashka\u201d brigade of the russian armed forces;
\n\u25ab\ufe0f evgeniy zhulidov, evgeniy aleynik, tatyana aksenienko, and alesya lyankevich \u2013 administrators of pro-war telegram channels and members of the russian military.<\/p>\n

The \u201ckremlin mouthpieces\u201d section contains profiles of 136 russian propagandists and media figures who justify the war, spread hate, and glorify war crimes \u2014 and the list continues to grow.<\/p>\n

We urge the international community to strengthen sanctions against kremlin propagandists and eliminate any possibility of cooperation with them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
