In this way,russian academy of sciences is becoming a club where scientific titles are awarded for serving the imperial ambitions of kremlin dictator vladimir putin, rather than for contributions to knowledge development.<\/p>\n<p>Science in russia is ceasing to be a civilian sphere and is being transformed into a branch of the military-industrial complex, where only regime-loyal people will be able to work.
