This trend has persisted since the beginning of 2025. In the first four months of the year, russian oil exports to China fell by more than 14%.<\/p>\n<p>Despite russian propaganda claims of sincere friendship and expanding economic cooperation with China, Beijing is acting pragmatically toward russia, seeking to avoid unnecessary risks related to anti-russian sanctions.
