\u25ab\ufe0f For instance, a fake website posing as The National claims that Zelenskyy is “personally ready to beg putin to stop the troops,” while a fabricated article on a fake version of The Independent alleges that “putin has nothing to discuss with the ‘illegitimate’ President of Ukraine in Istanbul.” These materials were most actively spread on the social platforms X and BlueSky. The aim of the campaign is to justify putin\u2019s unwillingness to engage in peace talks.<\/p>\n
Once again, kremlin resorts to hybrid methods of manipulating public opinion. In doing so, moscow seeks to mislead the global community and divert attention from its own refusal to engage in dialogue. Such information attacks and manipulations are designed to obscure the continuation of military aggression against Ukraine and discredit Ukrainian leadership.<\/p>\n
