Local media report that the suspects may have been recruiting individuals to take part in the war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>As the Center has repeatedly noted, \u201crussian houses,\u201d organized by the russian state agency Rossotrudnichestvo, are presented as centers promoting the russian language and culture abroad. However, in reality, culture is merely a cover for spreading propaganda and conducting disinformation operations aimed at expanding the Kremlin\u2019s influence beyond russia.<\/p>\n<p>The true nature of the \u201crussian houses\u201d is becoming increasingly evident to many countries, which are taking measures to limit their influence.
