He insisted that the restrictions are merely \u201can attempt by the West to strategically weaken russia\u201d rather than a response to the kremlin\u2019s aggressive policies. Furthermore, putin told business leaders that \u201cthings will never be the same again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With this rhetoric, putin is sending a clear message to russian businesses: the economic freedoms they once had before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine are gone for good.
