As a result, banks, in an effort to secure their profits, are further increasing loan costs.<\/p>\n<p>Not only consumer loans have become problematic\u2014mortgage loans are also in crisis. In 2024, russians\u2019 mortgage debt reached 3.9 billion rubles (over $44 million).
