After verifying the information with the 114th Independent Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces, the Center confirms that servicemen of this unit have no connection to the creation of these videos. The brigade has no soldier matching the person in the footage, who is falsely presented as their member.<\/p>\n
The man in these videos is likely a Russian actor, and the recordings were produced by the enemy to destabilise Ukrainian society.<\/p>\n
Previously, the Center reported that a number of creative agencies and theatrical studios operate in Russia under the Ministry of Defense\u2019s funding, producing propaganda content. One such agency, the \u00abKrylia Studio\u00bb, receives classified budget allocations from the Russian Ministry of Defense and specialises in creating fake content about Ukrainian soldiers.<\/p>\n
The spread of such fabricated calls is part of a Russian information operation aimed at inciting protests in Ukraine and sowing division between civilians and the military.<\/p>\n
