The assessment of such negotiations is predominantly positive, but skepticism is emerging, even in countries that have traditionally supported negotiations (China, Brazil, India).<\/p>\n
Against the backdrop of Trump\u2019s ambiguous statements on negotiations, Ukraine, and its President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, critical assessments of the new U.S. administration\u2019s policies have significantly increased in most Global South media outlets.<\/p>\n
Chinese media are attempting to dismiss the notion that Beijing is concerned about closer ties between russia and the United States, publishing a large number of articles emphasising the mutual benefits and dynamic development of China-russia relations, particularly in light of the telephone talks between Xi Jinping and russian dictator vladimir putin. At the same time, there has been a significant increase in Chinese publications calling on the EU to strengthen ties with China, against the backdrop of growing tensions with the administration of Donald Trump.<\/p>\n
