The Central Bank of the Russian Federation has set a forecast of 1-2% economic growth for 2025, compared to 4% last year. At the same time, propaganda presents this news as an \u201cimprovement of the forecast.\u201d Also, the Russian government openly says that the Russian economy has entered a \u201cperiod of slowdown\u201d since the end of 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u25ab\ufe0f In 2023-2024, Russia&#8217;s GDP growth was explained by massive investments in the defense sector and military orders. However, this only allowed the Russian authorities to maintain \u201cbeautiful\u201d statistical indicators, without adding to the sustainability of the Russian economy. Now Russia has no more funds to invest in industry.<\/p>\n<p>The Russian authorities have officially begun to prepare Russians for the fact that the quality of life will continue to deteriorate. The country has money for only one thing: war or economic support.
