However, official Russian statistics completely refute this narrative.<\/p>\n<p>In 2024, only 52 people moved from Ukraine to Russia under the voluntary resettlement program for \u201ccompatriots\u201d living abroad. In 2021, this number was 1,200\u201424 times higher.
