Foreign students\u2019 education is often funded by major state-owned corporations such as Rosatom or RUSAL. In other words, foreign students study at the expense of the Russian state.<\/p>\n<p>\u25ab\ufe0f Russia aims to create a \u00abunified educational space with Africa\u00bb. This effort is driven by the Russia-Africa Network University and the Russian University of Peoples\u2019 Friendship (RUDN).<\/p>\n<p>Russia\u2019s goal is to cultivate loyal and dependent foreign nationals. After graduating, alumni of Russian universities establish \u00abcultural centres\u00bb in their home countries and launch other Rossotrudnichestvo projects.
