Korovin is a long-time associate of \u00abRussian World\u00bb ideologist Alexander Dugin and the founder of the \u00abEurasian Youth Union\u00bb, which is banned in Ukraine. Korovin had previously been sanctioned by Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council.<\/p>\n
In Iran, the sanctions apply to the state entity Cognitive Design Production Center, which is affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Iranian media often refer to this entity as the \u00abInnovation Centre for Cognitive Science and Technology\u00bb, likely to present it as a civilian research institution rather than an IRGC division.<\/p>\n
