The main reason is the activity of the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) group in Afghanistan, which has carried out a number of terrorist operations in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan tried to negotiate with the Taliban to reduce the group&#8217;s activities, but without success, so it launched air strikes on the alleged locations of TTP members. The Taliban viewed this as an act of aggression against Afghanistan and launched a raid into Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>The complication of relations between Pakistan and the Taliban could harm Russia&#8217;s plans. Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has already signed a law that allows the Taliban to be removed from the list of terrorist organisations, creating a legal basis for changes in relations with this group. The Kremlin is interested in such cooperation, as Afghanistan could become a transit hub for Russian goods exports to Pakistani ports.
