At the time of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, misyurevich was a journalism student at Mariupol State University. During the occupation, she participated in educational programs for media professionals, which were overseen by russian propagandists. She later joined the pro-kremlin Mariupol 24 TV channel, where she quickly climbed the ranks from correspondent to editor-in-chief.<\/p>\n
misyurevich produced reports discrediting Ukrainian defenders and spreading distorted accounts of events during the battles for Mariupol. She also participated in the production of a propaganda film about Azovstal, falsely claiming that Ukrainian forces were \u201cforcibly holding\u201d civilians in the plant’s basements.<\/p>\n
In her broadcasts, misyurevich promoted the narrative of a \u201chappy occupation,\u201d exaggerating the scale of reconstruction efforts by russia in Mariupol.<\/p>\n
