One of the most prominent figures in North Korean propaganda was Kim Ki Nam, former secretary of the Central Committee of the Korean Workers’ Party and former director of the Department of Propaganda and Agitation.<\/p>\n
\u25fd\ufe0f In the media, he was often referred to as the “godfather” of DPRK propaganda and was compared to Joseph Goebbels, the head of propaganda in Nazi Germany. Kim Ki Nam, who led the DPRK’s Propaganda Department for several decades, made a significant contribution to the establishment of the Kim dynasty\u2019s personality cult.<\/p>\n
\u25fd\ufe0f He played a key role in promoting propaganda narratives that supported the DPRK regime and Juche ideology, the central doctrine in North Korea. Juche justifies the regime’s isolationism and authoritarianism, maintaining internal stability through total ideological indoctrination of the population.<\/p>\n
