Kovalenko spoke about the Center&#8217;s tasks in the field of countering current and projected threats to national security and national interests of Ukraine in the information field and ensuring information security, emphasized the ways and methods of spreading disinformation and the tools used by the CCD to identify, inform and respond to information threats, cooperation with international partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The head of the Center emphasized the importance of mastering information verification skills, noting that in an environment where the enemy is exerting unprecedented disinformation influence, critical thinking is an element of national resilience and security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He called on young people to resist destructive information influences and campaigns, in particular to analyze information disseminated by unverified groups in messengers and anonymous telegram channels, and not to spread manipulations and fakes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On May 23, 2024, the Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andriy Kovalenko gave a lecture on countering disinformation to students of the Institute of International Relations. \u0410.
