Britain announced secret russian operation in North Sea
British Defense Secretary John Healey stated that russia had conducted a covert operation in British waters that posed a direct threat to vital energy and data cables.
According to the Ministry of Defense, over the course of a month, the British Navy, together with allies, tracked a group of russian ships in the North Sea and the Atlantic. To prevent sabotage, British warships used hydroacoustic buoys to detect and deter submarines.
