The education of children in the Ministry of Education of Russia was entrusted to the commander of assault convicts
As part of the campaign to glorify war criminals, kremlin appointed igor yurgin as the head of the department of state policy in education at the russian ministry of education. He is known for sending convict-assault troops to “meat assaults” during the occupation of Luhansk and refusing to return the bodies of the slain.

By widely promoting “success stories” of criminals like yurgin, russia seeks to make them role models for other russians, ultimately aiming to recruit them for the war against Ukraine.
